Whether you have a child who’s encountered some bullying, serious or in passing, or you are a parent who simply believes a school should be bully-free, Anti-Bullying Week is a good time to launch your efforts to build a better community for your children. Alert and committed parents can make all the difference, teaching their own children the values that make for smooth relationships, and ensuring that an abusive atmosphere is stopped before it starts. And all children benefit from a school where bullying isn’t tolerated. No one learns well in a school where violence is part of the curriculum.
