For more ideas, and to get a better understanding of bullying, visit the Kidscape website. If you are being bullied, make this the moment to begin to bring it to a halt. Read the advice with your parents that’s on the website, and have them ring Kidscape for more specialized strategies. You can stop the bullies!
Many schools like to have fund-raisers to raise money fro relevant issues like bullying - we have a number of ideas to get you started. We also have some helpful hints for your teachers if they would like to raise funds or run activities. You can use the money to equip a little office for counsellors, or for buying relevant books for the library, or for hiring trainers to teach these peer support skills. You might even want to send some to Kidscape, either for booklets, or to fund the free workshops we offer to severely bullied children, who learn how to stop the bullying themselves.
